The connection you have with your own inner being is your #1 asset.  It is the foundation on which all of your decisions are made and your relationships are built.  When you tap into the truth of your innate worthiness and abundance, it’s something that no one can take away from you.  You start to see evidence mounting on the outside that supports the evidence of what’s inside, a tangible reflection of your abundant inner world. It’s pretty amazing to realize it in action.  

We live in an abundant and ever expanding universe, and it's true that we see things not as they are, but as we are.  Are you recognizing the truth of your own abundant nature? 

It's really a cool move to love yourself.  I promise.  This requires a revolutionary commitment to re-train your nervous system -  so it knows that it really is ok to feel good about yourself.   

For many years I really didn’t love myself.  Maybe on the outside it looked like i did, but subconsciously I was sabotaging myself left and right.  I never felt good enough, I felt I had to work on myself because there was something innately wrong with me.  As soon as I lose 10 pounds, or get that next certificate or degree or quit this job, get the next job, get married, get divorced... I was never happy right where I was. I was half in the moment half somewhere else.  I was always looking for something outside of myself for fulfillment.  

I engaged in a lot of self-destructive and numbing behaviors throughout my teens, twenties and into my thirties - most of which kept me in a cycle of shame and feeling like crap, (when I could actually feel anything, so then I'd just numb out again).  I finally got sick of my own BS, and decided I would learn how to truly love myself.    I didn't realize that was the key to living an abundant and full life. 

It hasn’t always been an easy road,  but I trust my feet are right where they are supposed to be.  I'm a diligent and dedicated student on this Earth School so I appreciate the lessons that have broken me down and open in order to break through to remember who I am.  To see my innate value.  I am both deeply humbled and also proud of who I am and what I'm doing here.  That feels good.  

It’s not selfish to get you right with you.  Do that,  THEN take care of your people, your responsibilities. 

We don't have to make it harder than it is. Schedule your self care into your week, like really put it in your schedule!  Success is scheduled, and it's a lot more likely to happen when you put your work out or meditation in your calendar.  (I've created a series of seven guided meditations and workbooks to make it easy for you to remember to reconnect with yourself daily.  Grab it here. )

First solidify the foundation, then build the structure.   

Know this: you are designed to feel good.  Determine what feels like nourishment to you, and then create the space for more of that in your life. That is, SCHEDULE IT IN!  So often we can all make it much more difficult than it really needs to be.   

You can have excuses or results, not both.  

These days I choose to work on myself not from a place of self-judgment or feeling as if I am lacking in any way.   I continue on the path of expansion and growth from a place of saying YES to myself as a way of unearthing my innate value.   Can you feel the difference?  

When you feel good about yourself you promote wellness from within.  You attract more of what you want into your life.  That attractiveness is a frequency of your self-acceptance and love. The more you recognize your innate value, the more abundant your life will feel.  It cannot be any other way.   xo

Practical experiment:  
See what happens when you commit to the inner thoughts, say them out loud if you can:   
1.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with me.
2.  I am filled with unlimited value.
3. I am filled with unlimited value because there is nothing wrong with me.
